Surgery....CHECK!

Whelp....surgery is officially done-zo!
Hallelujah!
Free at last! Free at Last!.....oh, that wasn't in the right context?
Whatever.
I'm super excited to finally be done with surg
eries for a while hopefully.

Anyone care for a recap?
Okay, twist my arm!

So, Monday morning rolls around and my mom and I have some errands to run before we can go in for my surgery (scheduled at 11:30)
We had to go find ornaments for the Walker Family Christmas party
(this will be blogged about at a later date)
Then we went and got
!!!!!!!PEDICURES!!!!!!!
(My absolute favorite...obviously)
Of course the place we go is owned and operated by Asians...
(Most of you know that I have a legit fear of Asians...I'll blog about it later)
UNCOMFORTABLE MUCH?!
Anyway.... We asked them if they would be able to get us in and out in an hour because I was scheduled for surgery....they said:
"Oh, Jyess! We can do dat!
Sit dow an put yo feet in da wata"
As promised, we were in and out in less than an hour.
I suppose that earns the Asians some points in my book.
As I was leaving they said:
"Goo luh wit yo surgy!"
Aren't they just too cute?
Bless their hearts.

So we arrive at the office right on schedule and they said:
"Ya ready to do it all over again?"
I, of course replied, "I'm SO ready!"
They all laughed and said great, sign all the paper work
Go Pee in this cup so we can do a P.T
(Thats Pregnancy Test for all you lay people...)
I could've saved them messin with my urine and just tell them...
THERE'S NO POSSIBLE WAY I COULD BE PREGNANT
Protocol is protocol, I suppose.
But for all of you on the edge of your seats...
I'm making the announcement that I'm NOT PREGNANT!
SORRY! ;)

Anyway, I walked in to get all hooked up for surgery and it went smoothly.
Before I even had time to get decent sleep I was awake and being wheeled in the recovery room
After I was awake long enough to get my thoughts straight my mom informed me that I
apparently was talking DURING MY SURGERY....
Yep, that's me
Can't get me to shut up, even if I'm put to sleep!
Ta DA!
I'd like to see the rest of you do that!

I guess I started to ask the nurse if she would go ask my mom for a camera that I had in my purse.
The nurse went out to my mom in the waiting room and said:
"So....Marissa is asking for a camera....she wants us to take pictures for her blog..."
Yes, That's how loyal of a blogger I am!
You're welcome fellow bloggers
(or I apologize to those with weak stomachs)
My Mother found my camera and gave it to the nurs
e who graciously fulfilled my request for pictures!
Without further a due......Pictures!

And for those of you who care...I'm doing great!

I am very happy you are free from surgeries and that you can still use so many exclamation points after talking about it =) What a trooper.

I love you!
