Rubber bands

Rubber bands...

We as humans are all like a bunch of rubber bands.
There is a wide variety of colors that these rubber bands come in, there are the dull, plain beige colored ones, the bright cheery yellow ones, the red ones that demand our attention, etc.

Rubber bands have a very distinct purpose in this world:
"Hold it together"

That is very easy for a very select few rubber bands.

The few that have the perfect amount of elastisity.

They wrap around an object 2 times, and fit snuggly.

Not too tight, yet not loose enough tht anything would fall out of place.

Then you have the rest of the rubber band ball that consists of 2 other kinds of rubber bands:

"To tight to get around the objects"

They can make it around the object one and a half times. They just don't have enough stretch to accomplish their only task in this life.

Try to wrap it any tighter, and it will snap

and

"Not elastic enough to hold it together"

No matter how many times you wrap it around the item, it's never tight enough. The item is constantly moving and shifting out of place. The rubber band just isn't doing it's job.

Useless .

Useless or "snap"?

You are totally a hold-it-together rubber band.
That was an incredibly well-written analogy. I loved it.

My verification word it "dorkl." I laughed.
