To Life!!!

Well I think I am finally realizing how valuable life truly is. I think we often times get so caught up in the smallest details of life like who was wearing what, and who's dating who, that we really forget to look at the big picture. We need to take a step back every now and again and breathe...and look at how blessed we are to be here. Something my dad pointed out to me today was that people are really worried about the millenium and the end of the world and what not. What we should be worrying about isn't the end of the world, we need to be worrying about our own lives. We don't have any idea when our time is up. living our lives on a daily basis how we would if we knew the world would end tomorrow is how we need to live every day. We also need to make sure we are doing the things that truly make us happy. Spending time with family and friends. Serving others. Learning. When our time comes and we have left this life, not a single one of us will ever say that we wished we had spent more time at our job or if our house was clean when the visiting teachers came, or worrying about what to wear. Those things wont be important in the next life and shouldn't consume our lives today. I'm just grateful I was able to have this insite sooner rather than later. Life is valuable and can't be replaced or redone. We are here in the now. Live everyday like you could die tomorrow.
