Everyone that reads this blog is very well aware of my love affair with Africa.

Since the day I was introduced to the Invisible children organization by some great friends in high school, I have followed it.

If I had endless amounts of money....I would fund this organization myself.

LOVE IT.

The newest movement being made by the Invisible children organization is the:

Kony2012 campaign. 

This comes at a perfect time to run along side with all the politicians.

So many people are unaware as to who Joseph Kony is, that they will watch the Kony2012 video just to see what it is all about.

This is not about Celebrating Joseph Kony.

It is simply about making him famous.

Famous to allow him to be located and arrested for forcing young girls and women to be sex slaves and forcing young boys to be child soldiers.

Please watch this video so you are informed about what is going on.

I don't usually get involved in organizations, but how can you walk away from these innocent children?

I miss Utah....

I am totally and 100% an Idaho girl at heart.

I will defend Idaho in any "my-state-is-better" battle.

It is a beautiful, happy place.

BUT.....

I LOVE UTAH.

Simple as that. 

I always knew that I really liked Utah, but I have recently realized just how much I love that place.

I love the people.

I Love the many tiny cities all bunched together.

I Love seeing churches on every corner.

I Love being close to a BIG city.

(and to those of you living in Rexburg...I.F. doesn't count as a big city.)

I love the friends I've made down there

and I miss them DEARLY

What is one of the biggest things I miss about Utah?

The Mountains.

(This building just makes me happy)

I don't know how I brought myself to leave these beauties.

All I know is....I will be back.

The Colossal Career Conundrum

So I have this boy friend.

He's a pretty cool cat.

We've been dating for over a year, so I know a lot about him.

Oh, you want to know what he does for a living?

Ya, well so do I!

All I know is that he manages the crews that do the up keep on oil refineries all across the country.

He has tried NUMEROUS times to explain it.

He even drew me a diagram.

I'm not kidding about the diagram.

I'm tired of trying to explain to people what my boyfriend does for a living.

I have officially decided on an answer to that question.

It goes a little something like this...

My Boyfriend is an Astronaut.

 He is working on creating a permanent moon colony.

His boss is Newt Gingrich.
